Who's getting better?

i am. about to begin something new. something i’ve done before but improving on the quality of it.

So, it is

Fresh.(natural really)

The quality I always have and will continue to prefer.

Fresh. Clean. & Pure.

You can re-fresh.

and,

You can re-clean.

but,

it's the purity of one's heart that tells more than what's seen...

To think we are the smallest of specks on a speck, in an infinite space … is Faith.

When something grows, is cut down to its lowest point, grows again, then is cut again, but always continues to grow again… that too is also… Faith … or maybe, it’s just the grass, my hair, or the way we were created to be amongst each other.

we know how to evolve. because we always have. and my favorite question is: How?

If a friend can help you get better, one might say you need them.

But if a friend can become your enemy, one might try to avenge them.

That’s just history. That’s how the people before us evolved. but. you and I are “getting better”.

A World Cup Final. A simple game of tic-tac-toe. Winning is winning. We like it and it feels good. It separates us. In the moment. It reveals who is better.

Back during high school when I chose the confirmation name St. Augustine, I chose this name because I only knew that he was the son of St. Monica, which was the name of the Catholic Church I was raised in. Now, please … 1) Quick search St. Augustine of Hippo. 2) Recall the last piece I wrote to you. 3) Do the math.

you understand the progress now?? or made the correlation, at least?

This world. That world. The people. The classification. The groups. Constantly, some succeed, some fail, but all should learn. So, HOW is the time spent?

Well, since we LEARN. HOW. to do things. what we are taught (vs.) what we believe. makes us.

This really determines who is getting better.

A day-to-day routine. Following the Schedule. Discipline. Structure. Abiding by the rules. Moral Laws. Righteous indeed.

We still win and we still lose. A loss hurts. Losing anything, especially when you lose anything you desire, then have to accept that the Lord took it away because it was best for you too.

How this translates… (in story terms)

In part 1. we think about life and the better of it.

In part 2. we think about people and the regret of it.

i’m writing part ii. listening to (Otis Redding) cover “you send me”. i think. but when you think. or listen to any of his songs. what comes to mind for you? i think again. about the characters in part ii. and HOW this song helps them get better.

Working. Serving. Learning. Reading. Adapting.

Know your heart, your true intentions, and what you feel for people. … If you meet with a fresh heart, keep it clean, and exude pureness, how it is received and treated is solely a reflection of those who encounter it. We can only control what we can control, because (we) know WHO ultimately is in control of it all.

now here’s the fiction.

If the first group of creatives only uses the original art forms to create. Then, a second group of creatives evolves and invents new new art forms for them to create. Then, a third group of creatives continues to evolve by repeating the same process until all the original art forms are no longer being used….
